Cognizant Acquires Belcan for Approximately $1.3 Billion

Cognizant signed a definitive agreement to acquire Belcan, a global supplier of engineering research & development (ER&D) services, for approximately $1.3 billion in cash and stock. The acquisition strengthens Cognizant’s digital engineering and IoT capabilities and expands its position in the high-growth aerospace & defense services market. Cognizant later completed the acquisition on Aug. 27, 2024.
