Computershare Limited has acquired CMi2i Limited to enhance its investor relations and ownership intelligence capabilities. CMi2i, an investor intelligence and shareholder engagement adviser headquartered in London with ~20 employees and offices in New York, Milan and Madrid, has been integrated into Computershare and its staff transferred to the group.

Leonard Green & Partners and Hg Take Co-Controlling Stake in IRIS Software Group

Leonard Green & Partners (LGP) will take a co-controlling stake in IRIS Software Group alongside existing investor Hg, with ICG remaining as a minority investor. The transaction values IRIS at an enterprise value of around £3.15 billion and is intended to support IRIS's continued scaling and expansion in North America; closing is subject to customary regulatory clearances.

Computershare Acquires Corporate Creations

Cuadrilla Capital Acquires Agilence

Cuadrilla Capital, a Santa Barbara-based enterprise software private equity firm, has acquired Agilence, Inc., a Mount Laurel, New Jersey–based retail data management and analytics SaaS provider. Agilence will remain led by CEO Russ Hawkins and will partner with Cuadrilla to invest in product innovation and pursue organic and inorganic growth opportunities; financial terms were not disclosed.

Hg Acquires Ideagen

Hg, a software-focused private equity firm, has agreed to acquire Ideagen plc, a Nottingham-based provider of regulatory and compliance software, following shareholder approval. Ideagen has delisted from the London Stock Exchange AIM and will receive investment from Hg to accelerate product, technology and talent investment and support further acquisitions; Chris Bayne is set to join Ideagen’s board.

insightsoftware Acquires Izenda

insightsoftware, a provider of financial reporting and enterprise performance management software, has acquired Izenda, an embedded analytics provider used in thousands of applications. The deal expands insightsoftware’s embedded analytics capabilities—coming shortly after its acquisition of Logi Analytics—and aims to deliver richer in-application reporting and visualization to software teams and ISVs.
