FirmaPak Acquires Easy Plastic Containers Corporation

FirmaPak, a manufacturer of blow-molded packaging solutions, has acquired Easy Plastic Containers Corporation, a Canadian blow-molder of plastic bottles used across health & beauty, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, industrial, and automotive end markets. The deal expands FirmaPak’s geographic footprint into Canada and broadens capabilities in personal care and pharmaceutical packaging while preserving Easy Plastics’ existing team and operations near Toronto.

SC Pack Group Acquires Frapak Packaging

The SC Pack Group, backed by private equity investor MML Capital, has acquired Frapak Packaging — a longstanding partner and European supplier of glass and sustainable plastic packaging. The deal expands SC Pack’s European footprint and product portfolio, creating a combined group with ~€350m revenue and roughly 500 packaging professionals across more than 15 countries.

FirmaPak Acquires Lighthouse Packaging

Shore Capital Partners Partners with Container Services, Inc.

(CSI), a custom blow molder of PET and HDPE rigid plastic containers headquartered in Hillsboro, Kansas. Shore will provide capital and operational support to drive organic growth, invest in sales and operations, and pursue inorganic growth opportunities (add-on acquisitions) while Brent Driggers remains CEO.

Flexpak, LLC Acquires ACE Packaging of AZ

Flexpak, LLC, a Shorehill Capital portfolio company, completed the acquisition of ACE Packaging of AZ on July 1, 2022. ACE, a Phoenix-based value-added distributor of corrugated boxes, stretch film, foam and polybags, will continue operating with former owners Mark Lundberg and Kevin Aldridge in ongoing roles as Flexpak expands its geographic presence into Arizona.

ProAmpac Acquires Specialty Packaging, Inc.

ProAmpac, a Cincinnati-based flexible packaging manufacturer owned by Pritzker Private Capital, has acquired Specialty Packaging, Inc., a family-owned paper, film and foil packaging manufacturer based in Fort Worth, Texas. The acquisition expands ProAmpac's paper bag converting capacity, broadens its recyclable foodservice packaging portfolio and extends its footprint into the southwestern United States.
