CoreWeave, Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Marimo Inc., creator of the open-source marimo notebook, an AI-native reactive development environment for Python. The deal is intended to integrate Marimo’s technology into the CoreWeave Cloud to provide a unified developer experience across the AI lifecycle (training, inference, data movement, and iteration). Terms were not disclosed and Morgan Stanley advised Marimo.

CoreWeave to Acquire Core Scientific in ~$9 Billion All-Stock Transaction

CoreWeave (NASDAQ: CRWV) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Core Scientific (NASDAQ: CORZ) in an all-stock transaction valued at about $9 billion. The deal will vertically integrate CoreWeave’s AI/HPC data center footprint by giving CoreWeave control of Core Scientific’s high-performance colocation infrastructure and power capacity; the transaction is expected to close in Q4 2025, subject to regulatory and stockholder approvals.
