Quaker Houghton Acquires Dipsol Chemicals and Natech

Quaker Houghton completed its previously announced acquisition of Dipsol Chemicals Co., Ltd., a Japanese supplier of surface treatment and plating solutions and services for automotive and other industrial applications, for 23 billion JPY (~$153 million). The company also announced a new acquisition of Natech, Ltd., a U.K.-based manufacturer of surface treatment chemicals, for about 4 million GBP (~$5.2 million).

Harrington Process Solutions Acquires Cortrol Process Systems

J.S. Held Acquires Failure Analysis & Prevention

The acquisition adds specialized failure analysis, metallurgical laboratory capabilities, and experienced forensic engineers who serve insurance companies and heavy-industry clients across sectors such as power generation, oil & gas, mining, and transportation.

Tanknology Acquires Norton Corrosion Limited

The deal expands Tanknology’s corrosion prevention capabilities and service footprint, enabling nationwide deployment of Norton’s solutions and broader access to petroleum, utility and industrial customers.

The Home Depot Acquires HD Supply Holdings, Inc.

The Home Depot agreed to acquire HD Supply Holdings, Inc. in a cash tender offer valuing the business at approximately $8 billion, with the deal expected to close in late 2020. The acquisition expands The Home Depot's capabilities and distribution footprint in the maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) market—particularly in multifamily and hospitality end markets—and is expected to be accretive to earnings.

Nautic Partners Acquires Harrington Industrial Plastics
