GE Current, now branded as Current, entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Hubbell Incorporated’s commercial and industrial (C&I) lighting business. The combined company is intended to create a premier end-to-end lighting solutions business spanning professional lighting, lighting controls, and connected lighting, with closing targeted for the first quarter of 2022 (subject to approvals).
