Ontellus, a Houston-based records retrieval and claims management provider backed by Aquiline Capital Partners and The CapStreet Group, has acquired INTERTEL and MasterTrace to create the largest national medical canvassing company. Datavant and Ciox Health signed a definitive agreement to merge in a transaction valued at $7.0 billion, creating a combined company to be named Datavant that will be the largest neutral health data ecosystem in the United States. The deal is supported by an investor group led by New Mountain Capital with significant new investment from Sixth Street and participation from Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Roivant Sciences and other strategic and financial investors; upon closing Pete McCabe will be CEO and Travis May will be President.
