L2 Capital has completed the acquisition of Robbins Sports Surfaces, a Cincinnati-based, vertically integrated manufacturer of hardwood sports and dance flooring founded in 1894. Merion Investment Partners co-invested and PNC Business Credit provided debt financing; terms were not disclosed.

Founder and CEO Jud Pins (former owner) sold the business and will remain in management; terms were not disclosed. Creative Surfaces has approximately 123 employees and $40 million in annual sales, and Lynx intends to leverage its existing sister companies to provide operational support and pursue synergies, including entry into the gaming market.

Toronto-based private equity firm Reichmann Segal Capital Partners has acquired Athletica Sport Systems Inc., a Waterloo, Ontario-based designer, manufacturer and installer of dasher board systems and sport infrastructure. The seller was Fulcrum Capital Partners; Reichmann Segal plans to support Athletica's product development and geographic expansion while CEO Andrew McRae remains in place. The terms were not disclosed.

The add-on expands Vasco's clay-court capabilities and Midwest footprint while adding more predictable recurring maintenance revenue and retaining Schubert's owner-operators in place.
