Behrman Capital Acquires Shur-Co

Behrman Capital, a New York-based private equity firm, has acquired Shur-Co, LLC, a Yankton, South Dakota-based manufacturer of cargo covering and cargo control systems. Shur-Co—previously a subsidiary of PCM Companies (PCMC)—will continue to be led by CEO Terry Tennant and will partner with Behrman to accelerate its growth and product development across agriculture, construction, waste and rail end markets.

Shur-Co Acquires US Tarp

Shur-Co, a portfolio company of Behrman Capital, has acquired US Tarp, a manufacturer and distributor of truck and trailer tarping systems and parts previously owned by Brighton Partners. The add-on expands Shur-Co's cargo covering product portfolio and distribution footprint, leveraging US Tarp's engineering capabilities and overlapping end markets in construction, agriculture and recycling.

H.I.G. Capital Affiliate Acquires CargoTuff

An affiliate of H.I.G. Capital has completed the acquisition of CargoTuff, a Virginia-based manufacturer and distributor of load securement products including dunnage airbags, lashing, and strapping. H.I.G. said it will support CargoTuff's growth and expansion of product capabilities and its global manufacturing footprint while CargoTuff's management team will remain in place.

Sheer Logistics Acquires CargoBarn

Sheer Logistics has acquired tech-enabled 3PL and freight brokerage CargoBarn to deepen its 3PL/managed transportation and freight brokerage capabilities. The deal expands Sheer's geographic footprint (adding CargoBarn offices in Fresno, Atlanta, Dallas and Jacksonville) and strengthens its ability to offer managed services and brokerage specialty lanes; terms were not disclosed.

NORRES Acquires Baggerman Group

The acquisition (terms undisclosed) expands NORRES's product portfolio and European footprint, creating a broader industrial-hose platform across multiple European markets.

Pacific Shoring (Palm Peak Capital) Acquires Prospan Shoring

Pacific Shoring Products, a portfolio company of Palm Peak Capital, has acquired Prospan Shoring, a Bensenville, Illinois-based maker of aluminum pneumatic vertical shoring and vehicle stabilization products. The deal includes Prospan's patents and trademarks, and Prospan's president and product inventor, James (Jim) Sullivan, will join Pacific Shoring as Safety and Rescue Product Manager to support product and capability expansion.
