Resideo Technologies has acquired Electronic Custom Distributors, Inc. (ECD), a privately held regional distributor of residential audio, video, automation, security, wire and telecommunication products based in Houston, Texas. ECD will be integrated into Resideo's ADI Global Distribution business to expand branch presence in the Texas/Oklahoma/Louisiana/Arkansas region and broaden ADI's residential AV, Pro AV and private-brand offerings.

Resideo Technologies Acquires Snap One for $1.4B

Resideo Technologies agreed to acquire Snap One Holdings for $10.75 per share in cash, valuing the transaction at approximately $1.4 billion including net debt. Snap One will integrate into Resideo's ADI Global Distribution business to expand Resideo's smart-living product portfolio, proprietary offerings and distribution capabilities; the deal is financed in part by a $500 million perpetual convertible preferred equity investment from Clayton, Dubilier & Rice.

EnergyHub Acquires Resideo Grid Services

The deal combines AVPro's audio/video connectivity and manufacturing scale with RTI's control processors, remotes, touch panels and automation software to accelerate product development, broaden integration capabilities, and expand offerings for residential and commercial integrators.

Ricoh Acquires Presentation Products, Inc.

Ricoh Company, Ltd. has acquired Presentation Products, Inc. (PPI), a New York–based audiovisual integrator with roughly 100 specialists, to strengthen its U.S. pro AV, collaboration, and managed services capabilities. PPI’s team will join Ricoh’s managed AV services organization (Cenero) to scale integrated workplace solutions across AV, IT, collaboration platforms, and managed services in North America.
