DigitalOcean announced it has acquired Katanemo Labs, bringing its agentic AI infrastructure—particularly the Plano open-source data plane and related models/research—into DigitalOcean’s Agentic Inference Cloud. The deal adds an operational layer for building, running, and improving AI agents in production, and includes the hiring of Katanemo Labs CEO Salman Paracha as Senior Vice President of AI at DigitalOcean.
