DraftKings Acquires Railbird Technologies (and Railbird Exchange)

DraftKings has acquired Railbird Technologies Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiary Railbird Exchange, a CFTC‑designated, federally licensed exchange, to accelerate the company's entry into regulated prediction markets. The deal gives DraftKings access to Railbird's technology, licensing and team and will underpin a new DraftKings Predictions product that will offer regulated event contracts across finance, culture and entertainment.
