The Duckhorn Portfolio, Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards from Brown-Forman Corporation for approximately $400 million in a mix of stock and cash. The acquisition expands Duckhorn's presence in luxury Chardonnay, with Brown-Forman receiving a ~21.5% post-closing stake in The Duckhorn Portfolio and two board nominations.

E. & J. Gallo Winery Acquires Bev

E. & J. Gallo Winery has acquired Bev, the woman-founded canned-wine and spritzer brand founded by Alix Peabody in Venice, California. The deal expands Gallo's portfolio into Bev's premium zero-sugar canned wines and aims to broaden the brand's consumer reach and distribution; terms were not disclosed and Peabody will remain involved with the brand.

O'Neill Vintners & Distillers Acquires FitVine Wines

Foley Family Wines has reached an agreement to acquire Ferrari-Carano Vineyards and Winery, including the Ferrari-Carano Estate Winery in Dry Creek Valley, the PreVail Mountain Winery, roughly 3,183 acres of land (1,223 planted acres), tasting rooms, residential properties and winery infrastructure. The acquisition expands Foley's portfolio of estate wineries and gives Foley control of Ferrari-Carano's award-winning brands, vineyards and hospitality operations.
