HSL Compliance Acquires Jordan Environmental

West Midlands-based HSL Compliance (part of SGI Compliance Group and backed by LDC) has acquired East Anglia-based water compliance specialist Jordan Environmental. The add-on purchase expands HSL Compliance's geographic presence in the East of England and broadens its water compliance capabilities by adding Jordan Environmental's closed water treatment services.

IK Partners Acquires Majority Stake in HSL Compliance

IK Partners’ IK Small Cap III fund has agreed to acquire a majority stake in HSL Compliance, a UK environmental testing, inspection, certification and compliance (TICC) business, with the HSL management team reinvesting and LDC taking a minority reinvestment. The deal positions HSL to continue an aggressive buy-and-build strategy to expand services and coverage across the UK and Ireland; financial terms were not disclosed and the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.

West Midlands-based HSL Compliance has acquired Belfast-based water treatment specialist Chemical Treatment Services Ltd (CTS), giving HSL a permanent foothold in Northern Ireland and access to the Republic of Ireland. The deal expands HSL’s water-treatment and legionella-control capabilities and is the company's third acquisition in 12 months, taking HSL’s headcount to more than 500.

HSL Compliance Acquires RJ Urmson Group

West Midlands-based HSL Compliance has acquired Chorley-headquartered RJ Urmson Group, a fire and air ventilation compliance and water treatment specialist. The deal expands HSL's service offering into fire and ventilation safety alongside its existing water safety capabilities, is the firm's third acquisition in 12 months and increases HSL's headcount to more than 550; RJ Urmson's management will remain in place and the business will keep its branding.

Haven Capital Partners and Altaline Capital Management acquired and combined 3H Compliance Group and National Licensing Compliance Group to form Saratoga Compliance Solutions, a next-generation insurance compliance software and services platform headquartered in Saratoga Springs, New York. The new platform, led by Gary Harker as CEO and supported by industry leaders on its board, will deliver integrated license and entity management, surplus lines filings and infraction management to more than 300 clients and pursue AI-driven product innovation and strategic acquisitions.
