Vivalto Partners Leads Consortium to Acquire Vivalto Santé

Vivalto Partners has closed the acquisition of Vivalto Santé, the third-largest private hospitals group in France, bringing together 50 facilities, over 10,000 employees and more than €1 billion in annual revenue. The deal is backed by historical institutional investors (MACSF, Arkéa Capital, BNP Paribas Développement, Groupe Crédit Agricole, Mubadala and Bpifrance) and welcomes new partners IK Partners and Hayfin to support the group's next phase of growth and expanded employee/practitioner shareholding.

IK Partners Leads Investment in Sofia Développement

The capital will finance accelerated organic growth, product expansion toward a fully integrated digital practice management solution and future acquisitions; management will reinvest alongside the investors.

Equistone Partners Europe Acquires Majority Stake in Omnicare

Equistone Partners Europe has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Omnicare, a German pharmaceutical wholesaler specializing in distribution of finished medicines to compounding pharmacies for patient-specific oncology treatments. The seller is a consortium of shareholders that will retain a stake; Omnicare’s management, led by Oliver Tamimi, will remain in place and the deal (terms undisclosed) is expected to close in Q4 2019.

Calian Group Acquires Allphase Clinical Research and Alio Health Services

Calian Group Ltd. announced the acquisition of Ottawa-based Allphase Clinical Research Services Inc. and Alio Health Services Inc., bringing clinical trial management, patient support program capabilities and a proprietary home-care scheduling software into Calian’s Health segment. The deal consideration included $12.0 million in cash, 62,054 common shares and up to $12.0 million of earnouts tied to future EBITDA, with Calian planning to integrate the HOMETM application across its health services to drive new business and efficiencies.

Investcorp Acquires Sanos Group
