VerticalScope Acquires Hometalk, The Streamable and Threadloom

Toronto-based VerticalScope Holdings Inc. agreed to acquire Hometalk, Fomopop, Inc. (The Streamable) and Threadloom, expanding its portfolio of online communities and accelerating commerce and engagement capabilities. The cash consideration for Hometalk and The Streamable combined is $63.5 million (plus up to $30 million in earnouts), while Threadloom consideration includes newly issued subordinated voting shares and cash with additional contingent share/cash payments.
