Cathay Investments has acquired Mercian Logistics, a Hereford-based logistics business that provides distribution, storage and fulfilment services across the UK and Europe. The purchase expands Cathay’s logistics portfolio alongside its existing subsidiaries (including Amethyst Group and Warehouse One) and is intended to strengthen the group’s end-to-end fulfilment and delivery capabilities.

An affiliate of Cairngorm Capital LP III has made a majority investment in Bromborough Paint & Building Supplies Ltd, supporting a management buy-out by the company’s executive team and enabling owner Neville Wellings to retire. Cairngorm will partner with directors Giuseppe Alfonso, John Ferrington and Dan Peacock, backing geographic expansion (new branch in Warrington) and a buy-and-build strategy while investing in Bromborough's ecommerce platform Trade1st.

H.I.G. Capital Acquires CLC Group Limited

An affiliate of H.I.G. Capital has acquired CLC Group Limited from the Armitage Family Trust, with the Armitage family trust and CLC management reinvesting alongside H.I.G. The UK-based property and asset refurbishment provider operates roughly 15 branches and offers refurbishment, electrical and fire protection services to social housing, local government, defence, hospitality and utilities clients; H.I.G. intends to support service and geographic expansion and pursue add-on acquisitions.

Littelfuse Acquires Carling Technologies

Littelfuse, Inc. acquired Carling Technologies, Inc. for $315 million in cash. The acquisition — completed in November 2021 — brings Carling's switching and circuit protection products, approximately $170 million in annualized sales and ~2,800 employees into Littelfuse's commercial vehicle business to expand its presence in commercial transportation and communications infrastructure markets.

Babble Acquires Corporate Management Telecom Ltd

Infinite Electronics Acquires Bulgin Ltd.
