Wisk Aero has acquired Verocel Inc., a software verification and validation (V&V) firm that specializes in certification of high-integrity aerospace software. The acquisition brings over 50 specialized engineers and Verocel's qualified VeroTrace toolset into Wisk to accelerate certification of Wisk's Generation 6 autonomous eVTOL and provide enduring software-certification capability for the Boeing ecosystem.

Aero 3, Inc., a GenNx360 Capital Partners portfolio company and parent of AeroRepair, Aircrafters and Hemico, has acquired Skywheels Ltd., a Cheshire, England-based wheel and brake repair and overhaul provider for the aviation industry. The acquisition adds a U.K./EMEA footprint to Aero 3's existing North American network and is intended to expand Aero 3's product, parts exchange and MRO capabilities across Europe.

AeroVironment Acquires Planck Aerosystems

AeroVironment, Inc. has acquired Planck Aerosystems, a San Diego-based developer of advanced unmanned aircraft navigation and autonomy solutions. The acquisition will accelerate AeroVironment's autonomy capabilities by integrating Planck's embedded Autonomous Control Engine (ACE) and other technologies into its medium unmanned aircraft systems (MUAS) business, expanding capability for operations from moving platforms and in GPS-denied environments.

ConnectWise Acquires Axcient and SkyKick to Bolster Data Protection and Cybersecurity

ConnectWise announced definitive agreements to acquire Axcient and SkyKick, expanding its data protection, backup, and disaster recovery capabilities for managed service providers (MSPs). The deals bring Axcient (formerly a K1 portfolio company) and SkyKick into the ConnectWise product portfolio to integrate backup, BCDR, and cloud backup capabilities into the ConnectWise Asio platform, strengthening ConnectWise's cybersecurity and data resilience offerings for MSPs and their SMB clients.

ASGN Incorporated has acquired Skyris, LLC and will integrate the company into its ECS segment to bolster geospatial intelligence, remote sensing and open-source data analytics capabilities for Department of Defense and intelligence community customers. Skyris, founded in Fredericksburg, Virginia, brings approximately 75 cleared technical employees and proprietary Data-as-a-Service capabilities; financial terms were not disclosed.
