M7 Group (Astorg-backed) Acquires Liberty Global's Eastern European DTH Operations

Astorg-backed M7 Group agreed to acquire Liberty Global's direct-to-home (DTH) satellite TV operations serving Hungary (UPC Direct), the Czech Republic and Slovakia (freeSAT / Skylink) and Romania (FocusSat). The deal (subject to regulatory approval) adds about 800,000 customers and expands M7's footprint across Eastern Europe, enabling rollout of its hybrid satellite and OTT platform.

Astorg Acquires Majority Stake in Steliau

Astorg, a European private equity firm, has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Steliau, a pan-European value-added distributor (VAD) of electronic solutions, from B&Capital. Steliau, founded in 1992 and headquartered in Montrouge, France, employs more than 200 people across eight countries and will partner with Astorg to accelerate organic growth and execute a buy-and-build strategy.

Vertus Group Acquires Tangerine Global

Vivendi Acquires Amber Capital's Stake in Lagardère

Vivendi acquired 24,685,108 Lagardère shares from Amber Capital at €24.10 per share, taking its stake to roughly 45.1% (45.13% reported) and announced it will file a public tender offer for all remaining Lagardère shares at the same price. The transaction (and the planned tender offer) is positioned as a move to obtain control of Lagardère subject to regulatory approvals; Amber Capital remains the selling party.
