The Middleby Corporation Acquires Proxaut

The Middleby Corporation has acquired Proxaut, an Italy-based designer and manufacturer of automated guided vehicles (AGVs) serving food and industrial processors. Proxaut—based near Bologna with roughly $15 million in annual sales—will complement Middleby's existing automation portfolio and expand its end-to-end automation solutions for food processing customers.
