Trilantic North America Acquires 3D Systems' On‑Demand Manufacturing Business (Quickparts)

Trilantic North America agreed to acquire the On Demand Manufacturing business from 3D Systems and has rebranded the business as Quickparts. The deal, completed in September 2021, includes industry veteran Ziad Abou (former SVP/GM of the unit) as CEO and a team of industry executives partnering with Trilantic to grow the global on‑demand 3D printing and custom manufacturing platform.

PrecisionX Group Acquires National Manufacturing Co.

PrecisionX Group, a portfolio company of CORE Industrial Partners, has acquired National Manufacturing Co., a Piscataway, New Jersey-based specialist in deep and shallow drawn metal stamping and precision CNC machining. The deal expands the PrecisionX platform’s manufacturing capabilities and capacity—particularly in medical and aerospace end markets—adding National’s 90,000 sq. ft. facility and extensive tooling and finishing capabilities to the platform.

The add-on broadens EPTAM's plastic injection molding capabilities to create a one-stop-shop for precision plastic and metal components serving medical device, aerospace & defense, and semiconductor customers.

Midwest Composite Technologies (CORE Industrial Partners) Acquires ICOMold

The add-on expands MCT’s traditional and additive manufacturing capabilities alongside its recent FATHOM acquisition to create a larger on‑demand digital manufacturing platform; financial terms were not disclosed.
