Element Logic Acquires SDI Industries

Norway-based warehouse automation integrator Element Logic has acquired SDI Industries, a Los Angeles-headquartered provider of turnkey automation and sortation systems, expanding Element Logic's footprint into the United States and Latin America. Element Logic is majority-owned by Castik Capital, and SDI's management will reinvest and remain jointly responsible for the U.S. business; the deal adds more than 200 experts and extends Element Logic's AutoStore integration and sortation capabilities.

Accenture has entered into an agreement to acquire Logic, a Minneapolis-based retail technology services firm that employs approximately 800 professionals and serves more than 150 retail clients worldwide.
