Element Solutions Completes Acquisition of Micromax From Celanese

Element Solutions Inc. has completed its previously announced acquisition of Micromax from Celanese for about $450 million (with total cash proceeds cited around $500 million). The deal expands Element Solutions’ Electronics segment (MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions) and was funded via a $450 million add-on to existing senior secured term debt plus cash, along with a new/up-sized $500 million revolving credit facility.
