Element Solutions Inc. has completed its previously announced acquisition of EFC Gases & Advanced Materials (EFC) for approximately 12x forecasted 2026 adjusted EBITDA in cash. EFC will operate as a standalone business unit within Element Solutions’ newly renamed “Specialties Segment,” expanding capabilities in specialty and rare gases, advanced materials, and semiconductor- and space-related growth vectors.

The sale — subject to regulatory approvals and expected to close in Q3/Q4 2021 — generates a reported c.2.5x gross money multiple for Silverfleet; Coventya employs around 700 people and was forecast to generate roughly €160 million of revenue in 2021.
