Empire Company Limited (Sobeys) to Acquire Nine Morelli’s Pharmacies in Ontario

Empire Company Limited, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Sobeys Inc., entered into an agreement to acquire nine Morelli’s pharmacies co-located in Longo’s grocery stores in Ontario. The pharmacies will be integrated into Sobeys National Pharmacy operations and rebranded as Longo’s Pharmacy, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
