The deal adds substantial AUM (press releases report more than $660 million; Houlihan Lokey cited over $900 million) and closed on March 31, 2025, with Peninsula founder Rahul Shah joining EP Wealth as Regional Director.

The deal closed Nov. 29, 2022, adds roughly $274 million in AUM and brings the Warren team (founder Randall Warren plus four advisors and four support staff) into EP Wealth's platform as part of its continued geographic expansion on the East Coast.

EP Wealth Advisors Acquires Klein Financial Advisors, Inc.

EP Wealth Advisors, an independent RIA based in Torrance, California, has acquired Newport Beach-based Klein Financial Advisors, expanding EP Wealth's presence in the Greater Los Angeles area. The deal closed on January 21, 2022, will add more than $118 million in AUM, and Klein founder Lauren Klein will join EP Wealth as Vice President – Senior Wealth Advisor.
