EQT Value-Add Infrastructure (EQT Infrastructure VI) has agreed to acquire a 68% stake in SK Shieldus from SK Square and Macquarie Asset Management's infrastructure business, with SK Square retaining a 32% minority holding. The investment marks EQT's first infrastructure investment in South Korea and aims to accelerate SK Shieldus's digitalization, expand its physical and cyber security offerings, and support fleet decarbonization and operational improvements.

EQT Sells Karo Healthcare to KKR

EQT Infrastructure to Acquire Covanta Holding Corporation for $5.3 Billion

EQT Infrastructure has agreed to acquire Covanta Holding Corporation, a Morristown, New Jersey–headquartered owner and operator of waste-to-energy facilities, for $20.25 per share in a transaction valued at $5.3 billion including assumed net debt. The deal, unanimously approved by Covanta’s board, will be financed by EQT Infrastructure V and is expected to close by year-end; EQT said it plans to invest in operational, digital and sustainability initiatives to grow Covanta's waste processing, energy production and metals recycling businesses.

HES, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, operates 37 regulated facilities in the U.S., employs roughly 1,600 people, and provides industrial and hazardous waste management, on‑site support, emergency response and sustainability services to more than 1,800 customers; EQT says it will support HES's growth, digitalization and operational improvements.

EQT Infrastructure VI to Acquire Eagle Railcar Services

EQT announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Eagle Railcar Services, a North America-based provider of regulatorily mandated railcar repair and maintenance services. The deal is expected to close in Q2 2025 and EQT plans to partner with Eagle’s management to support growth, operational excellence, automation/digitization, and geographic expansion.
