EQT Infrastructure V (EQT) has signed an agreement to sell a 30% minority stake in Nordic Ferry Infrastructure (NFI) to a consortium led by Rederiaktiebolaget Gotland AB, alongside Interogo Infrastructure and Lægernes Pension. EQT will remain the majority owner after completion. The transaction is intended to broaden NFI’s investor base and support NFI’s next phase of development, including future fleet decarbonization and electrification investments, and selective growth.

EQT (via Otello BidCo AB) Acquires OX2 AB

EQT Infrastructure VI, through acquisition vehicle Otello BidCo AB, completed a recommended public offer to acquire 100% of OX2 AB at SEK 60 per share and now controls 98.81% of the company; OX2 has applied for delisting from Nasdaq Stockholm. EQT says it will support OX2's evolution from a pure developer to an integrated renewables developer and asset owner and provide additional investment to grow the company's pipeline across onshore/offshore wind, solar and storage.

EQT Infrastructure Forms Nordic Ferry Infrastructure by Combining Molslinjen and Torghatten

EQT Infrastructure is combining its portfolio ferry companies Molslinjen and Torghatten to launch Nordic Ferry Infrastructure (NFI), a pan‑Nordic ferry platform headquartered in Oslo. The combined group will operate more than 65 routes with over 100 vessels and transport roughly 16 million passengers annually, while EQT continues to invest in fleet decarbonization and electrification; the launch follows a recent add‑on acquisition of ForSea to expand the platform's footprint.

EQT Infrastructure Acquires Molslinjen A/S

EQT Infrastructure to merge IP-Only and GlobalConnect

EQT Infrastructure announced plans to combine its portfolio companies IP-Only and GlobalConnect to create a leading Northern European fiber-based datacom and cloud-enabling infrastructure provider. The merger creates scale across Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Northern Germany — combining roughly 58,000 km of fiber, ~18,000 sqm of data center capacity, more than 1,500 employees and combined 2018 revenues of ~EUR 520 million to accelerate network rollout, innovation and cross-border services for B2B, B2C and public customers.

EQT Infrastructure Acquires IP-Only

The EQT Infrastructure IV fund has agreed to acquire IP-Only from EQT Mid Market and EQT Mid Market Europe funds for an enterprise value of SEK 18,250 million plus an earn-out of up to SEK 1,000 million. IP-Only owns and operates ~16,000 km of fiber network across Sweden and provides wholesale fiber access, enterprise connectivity and co-location data center services; the transaction is expected to close in June 2019.
