Events.com to Go Public via Merger with Concord Acquisition Corp II

Events.com and Concord Acquisition Corp II entered into a definitive agreement and plan of merger to combine, valuing Events.com at a pre-money equity value of $314 million (pro forma enterprise value of $399 million). The deal is expected to take Events.com public on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “RSVP,” subject to regulatory and stockholder approvals, with $100 million of committed capital from Gem Global Yield LLC SCS.
