Evertec has acquired Zunify, the largest QR-code payment network operating in Costa Rica, taking over its client portfolio, financial permits, and technology licenses. The deal strengthens Evertec’s payments footprint in Costa Rica and Central America, bringing Zunify’s network (over 1,300 stores) and capabilities into Evertec’s regional platform.
