Francisco Partners Acquires Moneris Solutions from RBC and BMO

Francisco Partners entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Moneris Solutions Corporation for approximately C$2.0 billion in cash. The sellers are Bank of Montreal and Royal Bank of Canada, which each receive 50% of the proceeds, and will also enter into long-term exclusive referral arrangements with Moneris following closing.
