Franklin Electric Acquires Cat Pumps Corporation

Franklin Electric completed its acquisition of Cat Pumps Corporation for $350 million in cash plus a performance-based stock earnout of up to $50 million. Cat Pumps, a Minneapolis-based maker of high-pressure pumps, will continue operating under its existing brand within Franklin Electric’s Energy Systems segment.
