Bell Lumber & Pole Co. has acquired the assets of The Oeser Company, a family-owned utility pole manufacturer and treated-wood products supplier based in Bellingham, Washington. The asset purchase expands Bell’s manufacturing footprint and strengthens its presence in the Pacific Northwest while preserving ongoing operations and jobs at the Bellingham plant.

OrePac Building Products Acquires Western Timber Products

OrePac Building Products, a family-owned wholesale supplier based in Wilsonville, Oregon, has agreed to acquire Western Timber Products, a specialty softwood lumber and custom millwork manufacturer headquartered in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The deal, announced Feb. 26, 2024, is expected to close around early April 2024 and will keep Western Timber's owner Dan Seid involved to assist in the transition.

The deal will integrate OES' LED video scoreboards, EMS capabilities and scoring/timing software with Reichmann Segal's existing portfolio company Athletica, with OES CEO Jeff Stewart remaining in place; terms were not disclosed.
