Chicago-based private equity firm May River Capital acquired Spiroflow and combined it with Cablevey Conveyors to create Automated Handling Solutions (AHS). Northstar Capital provided junior debt and an equity co-investment to help finance the transaction; Spiroflow will continue operating under existing leadership to drive growth across food, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and specialty chemical end markets.

EVI Industries Acquires Spynr, Inc.

The deal adds IndustrySafe’s configurable EHS suite — including incident management, hazard management and mobile inspections — to Vector’s Commercial business unit to expand its safety, compliance and workforce performance capabilities.

Bentley Systems Acquires SPIDA Software

Bentley Systems has acquired SPIDA Software, a Columbus, Ohio-based developer of specialized utility pole design, analysis, and asset management software. The acquisition (advised by 7 Mile Advisors to SPIDA) adds approximately 26 colleagues to Bentley and will integrate SPIDA's structural analysis and pole-management capabilities into Bentley's OpenUtilities grid digital twin and cloud services to support grid modernization and 5G/EV infrastructure demands.
