Global renewable energy developer BayWa r.e. has acquired Enable Energy Inc., a Sacramento-based commercial & industrial solar and energy storage EPC and O&M provider. The deal expands BayWa r.e.'s U.S. C&I solar-plus-storage capabilities and strengthens its project pipeline and O&M offering in the Americas.

The specialist biogas platform owns five operational biomethane plants in Germany and a development pipeline in Italy; GIG said it will grow the business across Germany, Italy and other European markets.

Dallas-based Energy Transfer LP completed its previously announced merger to acquire Oklahoma City-based Enable Midstream Partners, consolidating Enable’s gathering, processing, transportation and storage assets into Energy Transfer’s midstream network. The transaction, effective December 3, 2021, adds substantial fee-based cash flows and geographic footprint (Anadarko, Arkoma and Haynesville basins) and is expected to generate more than $100 million of annual run-rate synergies.
