An affiliate of The Carlyle Group acquired IST Research and Two Six Labs and combined them into Two Six Technologies, a high-growth government technology platform focused on cybersecurity, data science and R&D for national security customers. The combined business will be led by CEO Joe Logue and serve customers across the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense and other U.S. national security customers, with a global operational footprint and sole-source contract vehicles.

Two Six Technologies Acquires Thresher Ventures

Two Six Technologies, a Carlyle‑backed national security technology company, has acquired Thresher Ventures, a software provider of the Media Manipulation Monitor (M3) that detects and analyzes state-sponsored media manipulation. The acquisition expands Two Six's information operations and data‑analytics capabilities and brings Thresher's subscription data sets, ML/NLP models and expert services into Two Six's product portfolio; customers include U.S. federal agencies and global technology companies.

OneSix Acquires CTI Data

OneSix, a Chicago-based data and AI consultancy, has acquired CTI Data, a Burlington, Massachusetts data governance and analytics consulting firm founded in 1994. The deal expands OneSix’s governed Snowflake analytics and responsible AI capabilities; financial terms were not disclosed. Novistra Capital served as exclusive advisor to CTI Data and OneSix added Frank Farrall to its board.

Smartronix Acquires C2S Consulting Group

The acquisition adds more than 50 technical staff, expands Smartronix's cloud capabilities and client footprint into the U.S. Intelligence Community and Department of Homeland Security, and places C2SCG leaders into Smartronix leadership roles; financial terms were not disclosed.
