Smartronix, a Herndon, Virginia-based cloud and IT solutions provider, has acquired Datastrong, a Fairfax, Virginia data architecture and analytics firm. The acquisition expands Smartronix's enterprise analytics, data science and engineering capabilities and brings new federal (Departments of Justice and State) and commercial clients in pharmaceuticals, financial services and education into Smartronix's Cloud Solutions business unit.
