LFM Capital Acquires PSI Control Solutions

LFM Capital, a Nashville-based private equity firm, has invested in PSI Control Solutions, a Charlotte-headquartered manufacturer of custom electrical control panels and emergency power products. PSI, founded in 1961 with a second facility in Mayfield, Kentucky and ~75 employees, will partner with LFM to expand operations and pursue growth opportunities across its industrial and electrical end markets.

Sandvik Acquires Dimensional Control Systems (DCS)

Sandvik AB has acquired US-based Dimensional Control Systems (DCS), a provider of dimensional quality management software and on-site engineering services, to strengthen its industrial metrology and digital manufacturing offering. DCS, headquartered in Troy, Michigan, will be reported within Sandvik's Industrial Metrology division and brings ~70 employees, 10,000 software licenses, and a software-heavy revenue mix (65% software, ~40% recurring).

Specialized Packaging Group Acquires Packaging Concepts & Design and Packaging Specialists, Inc.

Specialized Packaging Group (SPG), a portfolio company of Altamont Capital Partners, acquired Packaging Concepts & Design (PC&D) of Troy, Michigan and Packaging Specialists, Inc. (PSI) of Phoenix, Arizona from common owner O2 Investment Partners. The add-on acquisition expands SPG's Engineered Packaging capabilities, adds roughly 100 employees to the combined workforce, and strengthens SPG's engineering, design and manufacturing footprint across North America—particularly in automotive and aerospace end markets.

Coda Resources, Ltd. Acquires Design Plastics Inc.

Coda Resources, Ltd. has acquired Design Plastics Inc., a manufacturer of injection-molded and vacuum-formed plastic parts that serves the off-road automotive parts market. Woodbridge International announced the sale and acted as the sell-side advisor; the deal expands Coda's contract manufacturing and integrated supply-chain capabilities.

Creation Technologies Acquires Computrol, Inc.

The deal adds seven automated SMT lines and over 100,000 square feet of production space, strengthening Creation's medium-volume, high-reliability capabilities for Aerospace & Defense, Medical, and Tech Industrial customers and establishing a New Product Realization Center in Westminster, CO.
