Planet Labs PBC Acquires VanderSat

Planet Labs PBC (Planet) has completed the acquisition of VanderSat, a Haarlem, Netherlands–based provider of satellite-observed data and analytics focused on water management and crop health. The deal is valued at approximately $28 million — consisting of $18 million in Planet Class A common stock and about $10 million in cash — and is intended to strengthen Planet's agriculture data and analytics capabilities.
