GE HealthCare to Acquire Intelerad for $2.3 Billion to Expand Cloud-Enabled AI Imaging

GE HealthCare entered into an agreement to acquire Intelerad, a medical imaging software provider, for $2.3 billion in cash. The deal is intended to expand GE HealthCare’s cloud-first, AI-enabled enterprise imaging portfolio across outpatient/ambulatory, teleradiology, and hospital settings, while increasing recurring SaaS revenues.
