Rexel to Acquire GCG from Audax Private Equity

Rexel agreed to acquire GCG from Audax Private Equity in a transaction valuing GCG at approximately $1.4 billion. Chicago-based GCG distributes specialty wire, cable, connectivity and power products and provides engineered solutions for critical infrastructure markets; it has approximately 950 employees and expects 2026 revenue to exceed $1.1 billion. The deal is expected to close by year-end 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions.

Weinberg Capital Group Acquires Gavitt Wire & Cable Co.

Weinberg Capital Group, a Cleveland-based family office, has acquired Gavitt Wire & Cable Co., a century-old custom wire and cable manufacturer headquartered in West Brookfield, Massachusetts. Weinberg says it will invest in Gavitt's growth and use the business as a platform, pursuing add-on acquisitions while retaining the existing management team.

Atlas Holdings Acquires International Wire Group Holdings
