Groome Industrial Service Group Acquires Blasting Solutions, Inc.

Groome Industrial Service Group, a portfolio company of Argosy Private Equity, has acquired Blasting Solutions, Inc. (BSI), a Syracuse, Utah-based provider of controlled explosive blasting services for boiler deslagging. The add-on expands Groome's capacity and west coast footprint and strengthens its service offering into coal-fired and biomass power plant markets while supporting demand for its KinetiClean HRSG/tube-cleaning service.
