GTCR and Recognize to Acquire TRANZACT (Corporate Carve-Out from WTW)

GTCR signed a definitive agreement to acquire TRANZACT, a direct-to-consumer insurance services company, from WTW PLC in a corporate carve-out valued at $632.4 million. The deal is backed by GTCR alongside Recognize, with TRANZACT’s President Andy Nelson and the existing management team continuing to lead the standalone business.
