Hanmi Pharmaceutical Acquires Aptose Biosciences in Going-Private Transaction

Hanmi Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., via wholly owned subsidiary HS North America Ltd., completed a plan of arrangement under which it acquired all outstanding shares of Aptose Biosciences that it did not already own. Aptose shareholders received C$2.41 in cash per common share, representing a 28% premium over the prior 30-day VWAP.
