In parallel, Harbinger and ZF Group’s ADAS business unit agreed to license Phantom AI’s computer vision for ZF passenger-car ADAS products, while Harbinger plans to integrate the technology into its vehicles in 2026.

HARMAN Acquires Apostera

HARMAN Acquires CAARESYS

The deal brings CAARESYS' radar sensor and algorithms into HARMAN's automotive portfolio to accelerate in-vehicle safety, comfort and well-being features for automakers.

AMD to Acquire ZT Systems for $4.9 Billion

AMD has signed a definitive agreement to acquire ZT Systems, an AI infrastructure provider for hyperscale cloud computing companies, for $4.9 billion in a cash-and-stock deal (including a contingent payment of up to $400 million). The acquisition is expected to close in the first half of 2025, subject to regulatory approvals, and ZT Systems will join AMD’s Data Center Solutions Business Group after close.

HARMAN (Samsung) Completes Acquisition of Sound United from Masimo

The deal transfers Sound United's portfolio of premium audio brands — including Bowers & Wilkins, Denon, Marantz, Polk Audio, HEOS, Classé, Definitive Technology and Boston Acoustics — to HARMAN, expanding its product offerings across home, personal and automotive audio; media reports value the transaction at approximately $350 million.

Qualcomm Acquires Arriver from SSW Partners

Qualcomm Incorporated has completed its acquisition of Arriver from private equity firm SSW Partners. The purchase brings Arriver's ADAS computer vision, drive policy and driver assistance software assets into Qualcomm's Snapdragon Ride platform to accelerate the company's ADAS and autonomous-driving capabilities for automakers and Tier-1 suppliers.
