M&D Acquires DSS ProDiesel Partners, LLC (ProDiesel)

M&D, a U.S.-based aftermarket diesel parts distributor and remanufacturer, has acquired DSS ProDiesel Partners, LLC (ProDiesel), a fuel injector remanufacturer for Class 7 and 8 engines. The deal adds two Tennessee branches (Nashville and Johnson City), expands M&D's national footprint and strengthens its fuel-injection remanufacturing capabilities across North America.

GMSS Holdings Acquires DDP Medical Supply

Lawson Products Acquires S&S Automotive

Lawson Products, the operating company of Distribution Solutions Group (DSG), has completed the acquisition of S&S Automotive, a Midwest-based automotive and industrial parts distributor headquartered in Woodridge, Illinois. The transaction — funded with DSG cash and its credit facility — will combine S&S with Lawson's Kent Automotive division to expand product offering, vendor-managed inventory (VMI) capabilities and geographic reach; S&S reported approximately $40 million in annual revenue and the deal is expected to be accretive to DSG's adjusted EPS and EBITDA margins.

Gulf Island Fabrication Acquires DSS Services and Industrial Staffing Business from Dynamic Industries

Gulf Island Fabrication, Inc. acquired the services and industrial staffing businesses ("DSS") of Dynamic Industries, Inc. for $8.0 million in cash. The purchase expands Gulf Island's services offerings (including coatings, scaffolding and specialty services), nearly doubles its craft labor headcount and extends its geographic footprint into South Texas and Western Louisiana.

H.I.G. Capital Affiliate Acquires Supply Source Enterprises from Genuine Parts Company

An affiliate of H.I.G. Capital completed the acquisition of Supply Source Enterprises, Inc. (SSE), a Cleveland-based manufacturer of branded and private-label personal protective equipment and janitorial, safety, hygiene and sanitation products, from Genuine Parts Company. Funds affiliated with Ares Management Corporation provided financing for the transaction; H.I.G. said it will support SSE’s growth by broadening its customer base, expanding offerings and enhancing services.
