Honeywell to Acquire Johnson Matthey's Catalyst Technologies Business

Honeywell agreed to acquire Johnson Matthey’s Catalyst Technologies business segment in an all-cash deal, originally valued at £1.8 billion and later amended to £1.325 billion. The acquisition is expected to close by the end of August 2026 (subject to regulatory approvals) and is intended to strengthen Honeywell UOP and expand its catalyst and renewable fuels capabilities.

Honeywell to Acquire Civitanavi for €200 Million to Expand Aerospace Navigation for Autonomous Operations

Honeywell announced it has agreed to buy Civitanavi for €200 million in a deal based on a €6.30 per-share bid. The acquisition will combine Civitanavi’s inertial technologies and sensors with Honeywell’s aerospace navigation and automation platforms to broaden aerospace navigation solutions and expand offerings in the European Union. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2024, subject to customary closing conditions.
