Imerys Signs Agreement to Acquire Great Lakes Minerals

Imerys has entered into a binding agreement to acquire Great Lakes Minerals, a United States-based processor and distributor of minerals for the refractory and abrasive industry. The deal is expected to strengthen Imerys’ Refractory, Abrasives and Construction portfolio and expand its North American footprint with industrial assets on the Ohio River in Kentucky, with completion expected in the first half of 2026.
