Blackstone Acquires Trystar, Provider of Backup Power Solutions

Private equity funds affiliated with Blackstone have entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Trystar, a Minnesota-based designer and manufacturer of critical electrical power and backup power solutions. Blackstone said it will partner with Trystar's management to build a leading platform serving distributed power generation markets and accelerate growth amid energy transition tailwinds.

EQT Infrastructure Acquires Statera Energy from InfraRed Capital Partners

EQT Infrastructure VI has agreed to acquire Statera Energy Limited, a London-headquartered developer and operator of battery storage and flexible generation assets, from InfraRed Capital Partners. EQT will provide growth capital and operational support to accelerate deployment of Statera's 1GW (operational and under construction) and its 16GW project pipeline, including battery storage, pumped hydro and green hydrogen projects across the UK.

BlackRock Real Assets Acquires National Renewable Solutions

BlackRock Real Assets has acquired 100% of National Renewable Solutions (NRS), a Minneapolis-based developer of utility-scale wind and solar projects, to accelerate development and ownership of NRS’s project pipeline of more than 3.5 GW across the Western United States. Terms were not disclosed; the deal pairs NRS’s on-the-ground development expertise and >1 GW of developed projects with BlackRock’s capital markets capabilities and global renewable power platform.

The deal includes a Letter-of-Cooperation for distribution with Taiwan-based C-LiFE Technologies and positions Energy Plug to expand battery energy storage product distribution across North and South America.

SER Capital Partners Acquires HGP's Texas Battery Storage Projects

As part of the investment SER entered a strategic equipment arrangement with LG Chem and committed approximately $70 million of equity to support deployment and grid resiliency efforts.

Equinor Acquires East Point Energy

Equinor has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of Charlottesville-based battery storage developer East Point Energy LLC, bringing a 4.1 GW pipeline of early- to mid-stage US battery storage projects into Equinor's renewables portfolio. The deal accelerates Equinor's entry into the US power market and expands its capabilities in grid-scale battery storage to support its broader renewable and trading strategy.
