SER Capital Partners has committed $82 million to invest in Brightcore Energy to expand the company’s balance sheet and accelerate deployment of clean energy and efficiency projects. The growth capital will enable Brightcore to scale its Efficiency-as-a-Service offerings — including solar, LED lighting, HVAC/geothermal, EV charging and battery storage — and pursue additional project financing and acquisitions.

SER Capital Partners committed $82 million in growth capital to Brightcore Energy to expand the company’s balance sheet and accelerate deployment and financing of commercial clean energy and efficiency projects. Metric Point Capital acted as exclusive placement agent; the investment will support Brightcore’s solar, LED lighting, HVAC/geothermal, EV charging, battery storage and smart building offerings for commercial, industrial and institutional customers.

Generate Capital Acquires esVolta to Expand Battery Storage and Grid Resilience

Generate Capital has acquired utility-scale battery storage developer esVolta LP, adding a portfolio of more than 900 MWh of operational and contracted projects and a pipeline across multiple U.S. states and Canada. The deal gives Generate entry into the front-of-the-meter battery storage market to expand its grid-connected storage capabilities and accelerate deployment of energy storage projects for utilities and offtakers.

ENGIE Acquires Broad Reach Power

The deal—reported to be for an equity value of over $1 billion—strengthens ENGIE's battery-storage capabilities and advances its objective to reach 10 GW of battery capacity by 2030 while reinforcing its position in the United States energy transition.

Palisade Infrastructure Partners with SER Capital to Invest in MicroGrid Networks
